In a nutshell, ShopBack gives you back money whenever you shop at any of their online store partners. All you need to do is ensure that you purchase within the same tab, and that you are not using any ad blockers.
Is this legit?
I have been using ShopBack for quite a while now, and I have to say, everything is definitely above board. I have cashed out before, and my money has been credited into my bank account. I will tell you more about this later.
Using ShopBack is really easy. All you need to do is ensure that you don’t have any active ad blockers turned on.
When you’re on the ShopBack website, chose which online portal you want to head to and click it, you will be redirected to the merchant’s page and you can start buying from there. They also have special promotions just for ShopBack users, so when these promotions are active, you just need to look for the promotion code. For example, if you want to shop on Qoo10, you just need to go to the Qoo10 page, and get Qoo10 discount code!
The only thing you need to remember is that you have to remain in that particular tab when you purchase your item. Otherwise, your cashback can’t be tracked.
What’s so interesting about ShopBack is that basically all the merchants that you can think of are practically their partners! Whether it’s local sellers or international sellers, if they’re on ShopBack, you get it!!
Once you have completed your purchase, you will be sent an email on your latest transaction and how much cash rebate you have obtained. For the cashback to be redeemable, you usually need to wait about 5-6 months, depending on the merchant. Once it’s redeemable, it will be credited into your redeemable tab, and they will send you an email letting you know that your cash back is now redeemable.
After you make a purchase, the cash you earn back will enter the pending section, and here’s where you need to wait a few months for it to be redeemable. This is so they can check if you have returned something or claimed for a refund so their interests are also protected. I mean, it doesn’t make sense for you to get a cashback, but returned the product and got your money back as well right? That’s just scamming people.
Being the shopaholic that I am, I have used Shopback on numerous occasions, and everytime, my cashback has been redeemed successfully. What I like about ShopBack is that they have a lot of merchants as their partner. Basically whichever online portal you want to purchase from, they are Shopback’s partners. So whenever you buy something, you get to earn some money back!
When your ShopBack is ready to be cashed out, you just cash out, and then you will be sent an email letting you know that your cash out request has been received. For me, my cash out request was processed within a week, and I got the money into my account within 14 days!
