le bb and I arrived at the site at about 7am, when the sky was still dark and there were still ample parking spaces available. Already, there is a crowd, and I was quite excited myself to see the many different hot air balloons that will be showcased. There are about 20 balloons, from all around the world. There are balloons from Thailand, USA, and even Spain!
Hot air balloons need to lift off either early in the morning, or in the evening. Why? Because most of the hot air balloon will be easier to go up when the air is cold which is before the sun is up or after the sun comes down. The heated air inside the balloon makes it buoyant since it has a lower density than the relatively cold air outside the balloon.
So let the pictures do the talking!
Couldn't resist a shot with the balloons :D

Personally for me, I felt that the balloons were less festive compared to last year, but some of them did make a great effort to dress up their balloons. There were many activities this year, and there was even a food bazaar where there was a stall that served really good chili beef nachos.
I really enjoyed myself this time around. It was a great experience for me, and I would want to come again next year :)
Til the next time, stay beautiful!
xoxo,
yin
