This PETRONAS PRIMAX95 with Advance Energy Formula fuel is touted to be able to clean the engine whilst optimising fuel delivery by cleaning and protecting critical injector and engine parts. On top of that, it also creates a finer fuel spray that enhances energy release by improving fuel atomisation for better fuel combustion.
Lastly, it is able to reduce friction, thus minimising energy loss by lubricating the cylinder wall and refreshing the engine oil surface active ingredients.
Hearing all this, I was pretty interested in trying it out for myself, to find out whether I can also achieve new levels of fuel efficiency with the new PETRONAS PRIMAX 95 with Advanced Energy Formula.
Our convoy was flagged off from Publika in Hartamas Heights, and was joined by about 60 participants. Each convoy was ten cars long with a LEAD in front, and a SWEEPER as the last car. Before we made it out onto the PLUS Highway on en route to Ipoh, we stopped at a PETRONAS station to refuel, ensuring that we have sufficient fuel to go all the way to Ipoh and back again. We were then taken on a scenic route on the way there where we exited Bukit Tagar and came back out on the highway again at Tanjung Malim, to experience the country drive, and to appreciate mother nature. We passed by many plantations and little kampungs (villages), and I even had a 'near-death' experience with a deer (or could be a really skinny dog). The fella came out of nowhere and I had to emergency break in order not to hit him.
Before we started our journey, I was actually quite apprehensive that my little Milo Tin would be able to handle it, cos it was just a 660cc Perodua Viva. As expected, my trusty little VIVA couldn't keep up with the larger cars, and at one point, I became the SWEEPER instead for my convoy when we reached the country roads :p However, looking at the mileage that I got from the fuel and how much I have left (I don't even need to refuel to come back the 170odd KM from Ipoh), I was suitably impressed. PETRONAS PRIMAX95 with Advance Energy Formula made my car move smoother and fuel efficiency was top notch.

I really believe that the PETRONAS PRIMAX 95 with Advanced Energy Formula that we have used and experienced is one of the best fuels I’ve tried in the market, and what’s better, it is a product of our Formula OneTM involvement. I was quite surprised when I found out that the PETRONAS PRIMAX 95 with Advanced Energy Formula has the same components as the fuel used in Formula OneTM. The only difference between these two fuels was the percentage composition.
That is why, until now, I still use PETRONAS PRIMAX 95 with Advanced Energy Formula.
