Event: Partying it Up with Marquee Lounge

Party people in da house!!! It's time to get your groove on because something new is here and it's here to stay! Don't know what I'm talking about? It's the launch of the newly opened Marquee Lounge located in KL City Centre itself! Nestled in Bukit Bintang, the beating heart of Kuala Lumpur, Marquee Lounge settles like a jewel in the river.

From afternoon to the evening, Marquee provides a feast for the senses and the tastebuds, serving western and local favourites with a twist. After 10PM, the lights go down and the music goes up.Their signature champagne is the Bollinger Champagne. The Bollinger vineyard, one of the most prestigious of the Champagne winegrowing area, reflects a little of the House’s soul.

Bollinger is one of a very few champagne Houses to produce the majority of their own grapes for their blends. Pinot Noir represents 60% of the House’s vineyard, corresponding to the exact proportion of this demanding grape variety in the Special Cuvée blend. Complex and powerful, it provides Bollinger wines with their remarkable structure.

Decked out in our Friday best, the girls chilled and danced to the awesome old-school music that brought all of us back to our childhood :) It's so awesome that the DJ played the songs that we remember together with the newer songs of this time.

A set of fancy lights come part and parcel in any place that entertains people with music. Not satisfied with being just another “place with lights to go along with the music”, Marquee has embarked on a ambitious project to utilize a first-of-a-kind light show for Malaysia. Now, the sense of sound and sight will be married in a matrimony of sound and lights.

It was a great night too cos I got to spend it with le bb :) The cam's a little off focus here, but it's ok, we still look awesome and hot :p

What I loved about the lounge is that they have masks as decorations around the lounge in keeping with the theme of masquerade, which is probably why the place is called Marquee :D I tried to take some pictures, but it didn't turn out so nice cos it was quite dark :(

Anyone had a glass of this awesomesauce tasting Champagne yet? It's sweet and has a delicious after taste :) Even I who don't really drink much drank quite an amount that night :) It's definitely one of the better champagnes that I have tasted, so head on over to Marquee lounge to have yourself a glass today :)
