This week, we say goodbye to one of the beacon of light in my office. Esente's dear Silviana has left us to pursue greener pastures in a job more suited for the course that she has taken in University.
It was a night of mixed feelings as we all said our own good bye's to the little cheerful lady who was never without a smile or a kind word. Happy because she will finally spread her wings and fly, but sad because we won't have her around any longer.
I admit, it would be hard not to miss her and her infectious laughter around the office. Nor her innocence when she was thrown in between both our naughty bosses. I remember the first time I saw her, she was still so quiet, and didn't know what to do so as not to cross certain lines. So she just sat quietly and kept to her own devices.
However, in time, this shy girl quickly blossomed into a talkative, blur, and lovable person that just infects you with her brightness and quirky comments.
It's already been a little more than a year, and this little flower will make her way out into the new world, gaining new experiences and knowledge.
Silvi, I wish you all the best, and don't forget us, because we won't forget you :)
