The enchanting Snow World ice sculpture..I was tempted to touch my tongue on it, but didn't do it in the end cos I was afraid my tongue would get stuck :p
The new SnowWorld offers a completely new enchanted attraction that houses fantasies and wonders on a fairyland that epic traditional European street scenes! Inside with a temperature of -6 degree Celsius (I hear it is never above -6 degrees, and the previous time I went, it was a whopping -9 degrees!!!), there are four new never seen before attractions that would spice up your visit to the SnowWorld!
le bb and I being greeted with a flurry of activity :)
First up would be the “Winter Downtown plus World Heritage Concept”.When you step into the entrance of the SnowWorld, you will notice the relief façade along the sideway of the snow chamber that depicts the concept of a winter downtown experience. Each depicts an English Tea Shop, a French Bakery, an Italian Pizzeria as well as shops displaying Spanish red wine, Dutch clogs and Swiss chocolates to take you to an European experience at the Resorts World Genting. Of course these are just for show, but they're still pretty nonetheless! :D
Presented by yours truly :)
A new addition to Snow World was the Day and Night LED light animation, which actually follows the timing of the day and night feel in cold countries. It was quite nice as it gives people a feel of how it would be like during night time or early morning in these climates.
The next attraction that visitors should check out is ‘The Lookout Point’. Climb up a flight of stairs to the outlandish castle which is a contrast to the quaint and scenic downtown streetscape. Standing high up at the center podium will give a breathtaking view of the entire surrounding. It is also a great place to snap a few photos! Which as you can see, was what we did the other time we were here :D
some silly pics of me and le bb having fun at the Lookout Point :p it was awesome!!! but cold la >.< (from last October, link *here*)
Romantic much?? :p

Finally, drop by the ‘Warm House’. It’s another attraction nestled in the snow-covered “hills” that is perfect for a break. It's actually just an igloo, but it definitely is considerably warmer in the warm house, considering the -6 degrees :p Unfortunately no pics of the warm house :(
The VIPs during the launch, where they were required to slip the Snow World logo into the slot, and the Snow World ice sculpture lighted up
As an additional attraction, for the more adventurous, take a spin on the Play Slide or Cresta Run Slide that will definitely steal your breath away as you slide down from the top of the hill. I didn't get to do this cos I was already too cold by the time everything was done and dusted. Needless to say I hurried out into the welcome warmth :p
Celebrity Jantzen was there too! Don't really know if his name is spelt that way, if it's wrong, I apologize and do let me know the real spelling :) Thanks!
