This is how the front of the shop looks like, it's located beside the dry cleaners :) If not mistaken, it is located behind the starbucks row :) please don't mind the bb trying out some funny stunt >.<
The good thing about this place is that they do not recycle sauce. Each time, they will give you a fresh new pot, and add the peanut after, which is something different from the ones I had in Melaka. Though for me, I don't really mind if it's a new pot or not, I mean, at that boiling temperature, everything from the previous also die already la...but alot of people don't like it if it's recycled, so they do not give recycled sauce. Thumbs up! :)
The price is actually quite reasonable :) pretty standard to the price in Melaka, not too expensive, despite being in the city. One stick is RM0.80, and the yellow plate (mantao) is RM2.00. The Scallops, in the blue plate costs RM3.00.
They had no cendol there when we went, cos it was during Raya, and they had no santan, cos their ingredients are procured fresh every day. :( But we had it the second time we were there, and it was nice :D But perhaps they could shave their ice smaller :p
The delectable offerings that they had at the place..
See the scallops??
Full view of the sticks as far as I can get :)
My favourite Oyster mushrooms :)
The lap cheong and pork balls :) Obviously this outlet is not halal :p le bb loves the lap cheong
Prawns galore :D I think I had four prawns that night :)
my favourite chicken gizzards. For me, I initially thought it wasn't cooked, cos the previous ones I ate were all very hard...but according to them, they braised the chicken first before they put it out :) that's why it's so soft.
Scallops :D
the Leong sui (RM1.50) that we had :) it was so good, we had two glasses :D
close up of some of the sticks we took :)
Some people claim that the satay celup here will never be as good as the ones in Melaka. But I beg to differ. I think, that this shop actually has some pretty decent satay celup, and I love the taste :)
Oh and they had Mantao (RM2.00) !!!!!! I love this one :) It's warm and fluffy on the inside, and soft and goes super well with the sauce :D In Melaka, they just gave normal bread, but mantao beats this.
All our ingredients in the pot!!! Didn't manage to get a picture of the end table though, but between bb and I, we had approximately 60+ sticks :p
Overall, I loved the food, the sauce, and the drinks :D Personally speaking, I don't mind coming back here again :) And we did :D hehehehe
