Valentine's Day 2012

I think, Valentine's Day is perhaps one of the most widely celebrated days of the year, and it's not even a public holiday!!! Wanting to make something special for our very first Valentine's Day together, I decided to make a short collage book with our pictures and a poem that I wrote specially for him..

This Valentine's Day, I wasn't expecting much, cos we're both simple people, really :D

The day basically started out with plans to just have a simple dinner, and heading to church after that. So the whole day was spent with meetings and meetings. Didn't even have time to have lunch cos I had an important meeting right after that :(

Fast forward to after work, I got home (after a super long freaking jam cos I think everyone wanted to leave early for VDay too), showered, and went over to his place. When I got there, he met me at the gates and told me that he needed to get something from his car. Blur me just stood there while he unlocked his car, and he was saying something at that time, but I didn't catch anything cos there was a motorbike that whizzed past us right at that moment.

He then gestured me to the car and opened the car boot. Any normal human being would automatically look into the car boot when he opens it right, but (because I am so awesomely blur) I looked at the car boot going up -.-" I was wondering what's so exciting about the car boot that it warrants me standing there to look at it. So I gave him a puzzled look and he was looking at me with a goofy grin on his face.

So it was ONLY THEN that I looked into the boot, and saw the flowers and chocolates :p

The beautiful flowers he gave me. It's not the first time he gave me flowers, but the beauty of it literally took my breath away. Three means I love you :)

The flowers came with a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. That touched me too, cos Ferrero Rocher chocolates are one of my favourite chocolates apart from Kinder Bueno (it's the hazelnut I tell you), and he remembered :)

But what moved me was the short handwritten note he gave me. It has been a tough few weeks, and reading what he said really lifted up my spirits.

There was no romantic dinner with him that night (and frankly speaking, it wasn't necessary), but what was the most important for me is that I managed to spend time with him. For me, that's enough :)

bb, thank you for everything :) I'm glad to have met you, and you have given my life so much more meaning just by being in it. Just wana let you know that I'm here with you every step of the way, and I love you :)
