My Little Merry Christmas 2011

To all my friends who celebrated Christmas yesterday,

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Christmas for many is a time to celebrate Jesus' birth, gifts under the tree, and gatherings with family and close friends. For me, Christmas is a time to count my blessings, reflect on what I've been through, and be thankful.

This Christmas, I celebrated with bb, and some close blogger friends :)

Early in the night, when we got into the car and he started driving, he didn't want to let me know where he was taking me, and all through the car ride I was wondering where we were going..initially I thought we were headed back to his house cos he took that way, and my first thought was, "He's gonna cook indomee for our Christmas dinner?"

But he passed by the house thankfully and drove on to Chow Yang..and my second thought sprang to mind "Hmmm makan Chilli Pan Mee for Christmas??"

BUT he passed it and headed out to the LDP, after which I thought "Maybe go Sunway"

But then he made a U-turn and then I'm lost -.-" so I just decided not to try to guess where he's gonna take me, and just enjoy the ride..



In the end, we ended up here :) Louisiana at Plaza Kelana Jaya, to celebrate our first Christmas together.

 

 

I loved the place :) the ambience was great, the food was heavenly, and the view of the lake was awesome :)

Though on hindsight we should have come earlier, so that we could see the sunset :/

 

 Shrimp Scampi. I thought the Olive Oil was a sauce -.-" As usual, had a FU moment only AFTER I decided to try it...bb as usual, laughing at me >.<"

We ordered the Seafood Gumbo and Shrimp Scampi, both which were delicious :)

I liked how they had the Xmas basket with the wine and the tea light candles as a table deco.  It's simple, and doesn't detract from the simple table cloth

After the dinner, we headed over to Ryan's place at Palladium Condo for a round of Rockband 3 and Monopoly Deal

 bb paying so much attention to his part of the drums. I'm actually wondering if he DOES know how to play drums, cos it doesn't seem like he does :p

 

According to some, this is a normal occurence :p

My pressie for bb :) simple enough, cos being too creative takes a toll on me >.<

This Christmas, I have lots to be thankful for.

1. My family, you have always been there for me, and supported me in all the major decisions I have made in life.
2. bb, for being a pillar of strength for me in my ups and downs. Though it's brief, I'm glad you found me on twitter :3
3. SRYY, for all the crazy moments we had, the impromptu movie sessions, and mamak outings. Hope there will be more of those moments in 2012 :)
4. My friends,  for sticking by me through thick and thin, and never judging me or my actions
5. Colleagues, for teaching me things that I never knew
6. Bloggers, for those last minute events and camaraderie and accepting me so easily into the bloggers network :)
